As you’ve probably spotted, Christmas is very much upon us. The shops are full of 3 for 2 gift ideas and selection boxes. As such we’ve launched our range of festive tableware, they’re all grouped together on the site for your convenience at: https://innsupplies.com/disposable/christmas-party-store.
Our Christmas party store has a huge range of products including:
Printed paper tablecloths
Festive napkin designs
Black plastic glassware
These items are all available from stock with free next day delivery.
With our ever increasing range of paper cups we’ve also picked up several new types of sip through lids on the way, as a result there is quite a large range of lids available on our store. At a glance, this can appear somewhat overwhelming if you’re just trying to buy the correct lid for your cups.
The safest way to ensure you buy the correct lid is to find the paper cups on our site and look in the “related items”, we always list the appropriate lid for that product as a related item to make them easier to find.
In terms of types of lid, we offer the following:
4oz – 63mm rim diameter
Designed to fit 4oz espresso cups (plastic and compostable options)
6oz – 73mm rim diameter
Fits only the 6oz flat white paper cups (plastic)
8oz – 80mm rim diameter
Designed for all regular 8oz paper cups (black or white / compostable or plastic)
10-20oz – 90mm rim diameter
Designed for all regular 10-20oz paper cups (black or white / compostable or plastic)

As you can see we offer various options on these lid sizes. A lot of our lids are available as either a black or white lid to suit you individual requirements, most are also available as a compostable alternative too now to suit our biodegradable paper cups. The regular plastic lids are made from Polypropylene and are completely recyclable. The compostable alternative lids are made from cPLA, a cornstarch based natural alternative to plastic. These are biodegradable and can be composted too.
While stocks last we’ve got the small 3oz water / sampling cups at the clearance price of only £10 per case (2,000). These disposable plastic glasses are great for use in offices near water coolers or in canteens, the small capacity encourages people to drink water on the spot then throw the glass straight in the recycling bin. You’ll also find these glasses used for product sampling in supermarkets and malls, the small size makes them ideal for this sort of use.
These items are 100% recyclable, being made from flexible polypropylene plastic. You can simply dispose of them in any regular plastic recycling bin. The packaging is also completely recyclable in line with our ethical policy on disposable usage.
Our ever expanding range of wooden cutlery now includes a birch wood version of the disc stirrer. We’ve offered this item for some time as a disposable plastic item, the product that has proved popular in pubs, bars and clubs for use in cocktails.
We’re keen to keep up with market demand when it comes to trends in disposables and we’ve found that a lot of venues and sites are seeking to move away from non-essential plastic-based disposable items, with disc stirrers being a good example of this.
Our plastic disc stirrers are completely recyclable, as long as they’re sorted and sent to a suitable facility, or simply put in with plastic waste they get recycled and don’t end up at landfill. The problem arises when the correct measures are no in place to collect the discarded disc stirrers. At event sites there will often be a general waste bin instead of several bins offered for rec ycling purposes, in these instances the plastics will not be sorted correctly and recycling is not possible.
Our wooden disc stirrers are made from 100% pure birch wood; they contain no coatings or plastic layers. This means they’re 100% biodegradable and compostable. It also sends the message to customers that you’re thinking about the environment when it comes to disposables – at some types of venue or festival this can prove to be extremely important with the increased public focus on sustainability and environmental impact.
These items are available straight away from stock, either as a pack of 100 or a full box of 1,000. Please see our range of biodegradable wooden cutlery for more information.
We’re often asked by customers which plastic tumblers we’d recommend for pints and halves; if a strong plastic tumbler is required our recommendation is always for the Katerglass range of disposable glasses.
There are a huge range of plastic pint and half pint glasses available in the UK, most of these will be of the ‘flexi’ style vacuum / thermoformed variety. These are great multipurpose items and have the advantage of a very low unit price, however the cheaper thermoformed construction does result in a glass that’s thinner and can have an inconsistent wall thickness.
Katerglass tumblers are the only injection moulded CE marked polypropylene tumbler around and offer unparalleled strength. They’re a heavier weight item, the injection moulding process also results in a glass that has a uniform wall thickness all over.
As these are a premium disposable product they also feature a rolled rim for drinking comfort, this means no sharp edges. We actually find that customers often end up washing out these glasses and reusing them due to their strength.
There are a number of reasons why you might require a strong plastic pint / half pint glass. If you’re serving glass for example, a stronger glass means no spillages as the glass will not flex when held. We’ve also found that there can be cost advantages too, despite the glasses being more expensive. If a customer picks up a thinner glass it’s quite common practice to take 2 glasses instead of 1, thereby doubling the cost per drink!
Katerglass tumblers are available in a range of popular sizes, we stock the following:
New in today are our classic brown food boxes in the most common sizes used for commercially takeaways. As with the recently launched biodegradable noodle boxes, these are PLA coated biodegradable versions of our regular takeaway boxes; no PE (polyethylene) plastic coating. We’ve introduced these in an eco-themed natural brown kraft colour; this is unbleached card so no chemicals or bleaching agents are used in the production.
We’ve launched a full range of sizes for these new boxes including:
If you’ve ever received a box similar to this from a takeaway establishment then there’s a strong possibility it’s one of these sizes; they’re industry standard sizes and cover nearly all of the most common uses.
Due to the standardisation of these boxes, if you wanted to switch from our regular white or brown food boxes to the biodegradable version, you simply purchase the same size (No 2 for example). These will have the same dimensions as the item you’re already using, even if it’s from another manufacturer. This makes switching to biodegradable boxes very simple indeed.
